Dane Louvier received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Mechanical Engineering and Economics. He manages the Line Planning department at Samsung Austin Semiconductor where he is responsible for the long term strategic site plan related to space allocation and utility system optimization. In his ten years with Samsung, Dane has lead and motivated teams of varying size through direct and matrix management to develop cleanroom layout plans, create infrastructure and hook-up design packages, as well as manage the installation of cleanroom architecture, mechanical utility distribution and electrical utility distribution with specific attention to project execution while mitigating risk to existing operations. His expertise includes complex, multi-faceted project planning and execution to meet customer demands, while ensuring flexibility to support future site needs. Dane is a third generation Eagle Scout, and currently volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America STEM Scouts program.
